Anomalistic Psychology Empty Re: Anomalistic Psychology

Interesting I see Chris French the professor of this subject is talking at the Southampton Atheist Society on what Anomalistic Psychology is his definition;
"This presentation will provide an introduction to the sub-discipline of anomalistic psychology, which may be defined as the study of extraordinary phenomena of behaviour and experience, in an attempt to provide non-paranormal explanations in terms of known psychological and physical factors. This approach will be illustrated with examples relating to a range of ostensibly paranormal phenomena."

Obviusly an even handed approach rejecting the possibility of the paranormal. Indeed we may even agree on this that what occurs with mediumship, psychic and telekenesis is not tryly paranormal but explainable in terms of laws which we are unaware of. Sadly I do not think this is what Chris French means.
